Fascinating, fun, moving

Of the many wonderful aspects of these podcasts, my favourite is becoming clear: the artists are talking about music that is deeply meaningful to them, and so as a listener I have the privilege of rare insight into the musician and the music. I can geek out in all the minutiae of the music and the instrument, yet it’s enlivened by the artist’s deeply personal relationship to the music. None more so than this extraordinary story of Julia’s intense exploration of the Mystery sonatas.
